THank you. display is black our display is black and when I tried to see if the oven would still work when I press the start button it gives four beeps, the first a little longer and the last three beeps are consecutive. The light comes on, but thats about it, please help? My double oven goes on and off periodically with no rhyme or reason. Even during baking and cooking various items. What can be the problem? how do you remove the control panel from the RBD305PDS14 double oven? I recently replaced control pannel/clock (part #8302319) because display was blank and oven would not work. After intalling, everything seemed to be working fine until I went to shut the oven off after testing. Both of the "OFF" buttons (top & bottom ovens) are not working, but all other buttons & everything else seems to be working fine. Do I need to reinstall the control pannel (loose wire) or is it a different problem (part) all together? Could it be the suppressor (part #1018516)? If it is suppressor, is it difficult to install? I have researched this forum and others for problems with the Whirlpool oven display panels, but am not sure whether I should be focusing on replacing the control panel or the control board. Over the past year or longer, when in use, the oven would occasionally beep once and just stop working, possibly displaying a PF error message. In addition, at times the display looked "weak". We would wait a little while, then reset the clock and all was well until the next time this happened. Although I cannot say for sure, we began to get a feeling that the situation - which by no means happened every time we used the oven - was heat related. As a result, at times we would actually use the bottom oven, thinking it further away from the electronics at the top. Indeed, the occurrence did seem to happen more often from heavier use, such as during a holiday. Three days ago, the oven, while not being used, emitted a beep code of long-short-short-short and the display went completely blank. Pressing o I was having problems with losing the display on the clock so after reading a few posts on this forum with the same problem, I purchased a new control board. Got it in yesterday, the clock works but when I turn on the oven I get a E1 F2 code. I disconnected the power, rechecked the connections, cleaned the ribbon for the control panel, then turned it back on. The oven came on very briefly, but then the same error codes came back. ANy help? I have a whirlpool double oven RBD305PDS14 and it has a fault code of one short, one long and three short beeps. What is wrong? My oven is a Whirlpool model rbd305pds14 the oven light works but thats about it i have tried to reset the breakers with no success I have a whirlpool RBD305PDS14 Dual Oven. I get no digital display, it beeps when I touch buttons but nothing turns on, I've cycled the power on and off and reset the electrical connector to ensure good contacts to the central circuit board. What is causing this problem? Jim Valdez, XXX@XXXXXX.XXX XXX-XXX-XXXX Hello, You folks assisted me with diagnosing an inoperative 2003 Whilpool double oven this last weekend. the conslusion was that I needed a new "mother board". I ordered one and installed it yesterday. The good news is I am now getting a display indicating the clock is working and I have had a "PF" power failure. The problem is that as soon as I hit any other button I am getting a "F2 / E1" error message - "keypad keytail not connected. O.k. easy enough... dissconnect and reinsert.......25 times to no avail. Is it possible that I need a new keypad as well? I do not think that think connector strip has been damaged. Is there any easy way to test it? Also, I am absolutly possitive I have reconnected the new mother board properly even taking reasonable precaustions against static shock by grounding myself repeatedly. Thanks for you help, Frustrated Dave My Whirlpool double electric oven RBD305PDS14 control panel went blank. The oven light works and the oven just no control panel lights? |
