Jenn-air w276w oven gives error code F8 and beeps continously. How to reset? I need instalation instructions on Jenn-air built it oven Model # on oven w276w My Jenn-air oven has an intermittent problem maintaining cooking heat. Occasionally when I try to maintain heat the elements turn off and the heat is lost. Resetting the controls to the higher temp does not turn on the elements, and the oven must cool completely before I am able to reset it to a cooking temperature. This usually happens after >1 hr of cooking. I have replaced the clock and the intermittent problem still occurs. Should I replace the sensor? The fact that it is an intermittent problem makes me suspect the controls rather than the sensor. Any advice? My wall oven heats up properly, but often does not cycle on the heating elements again when the temperature drops after initially reaching the target temperature. When this happens, I have to wait for the oven to cool completely before I can get the heating elements on again. I have tried replacing the clock unit and the keypad to no avail. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem might be? The unit is a Jenn-Air double wall unit W-276. A microwave is the upper -unit and the Oven is the lower unit. The Oven is the unit I'm having trouble with at this time. Orginally the Fault Code displayed was F0. I called in and a technician recommended that I replace the clock/electronics Part AP4283394. When I replaced this part it cleared the FO code, but then a F4 code was displayed in about 30 seconds. A technician told me that the F4 code is related to a bad sensor or a bad display relay control board (which is the first part I replaced above - clock/electronics. The technician told me that sensor should have 1080 ohms of resistance, it actually had 1800 ohms -- so I replaced it with a new part, and the new part also reads 1800 ohms and the F4 code still comes on within 30 seconds. I've cleaned to ribbon cable connection with a pencil eraser as well. The next step is to check the sensor harness and harness connection between the sensor and the oven control. I visible inspected the Problem description: Incorrect key pad reading History ( most recent to oldest) 1) Replaced clock clock board for F1 code (2nd time)Installed and appeared to work correctly (no more F1 code). used oven, and then problems. "cancel/Off function didn't work on first try - it did after several tries;later (at ambient temp) tried to set clock but clock set function came on. Was able to set clock after several tries. Keypad appeared to be oversensitive - beeper often sounded twice for single keypad strike.2) Original problem was error code F1/F8 and cleared after new clock clock board and keypad installed. Key pad and clock board replaced prior to this second clock board installation. 3) Now, no error codes (Yet!) , but keypad input not being correctly interpreted. My oven is a Jenn-Air W276. Need help - seems problem is thermally related (when I run oven). We are getting an F1 code on our Jenn-Aire W276W convection oven. We've had this for 20 years and tried turning the power off to it to clear the code but that didn't work. We first tried pushing the cancel button and the beeping stopped for a few seconds and then restarted. I read online that the F1 either meant the oven had been on too long and overheated or there was a problem with the wiring harness between the control panel and the power to the oven. Is there anything else we can do to fix this - it is inset in a cabinet and there is a microwave stacked above it so we can't get to the harness very easily? Jenn Air (W276W) wall oven that the broiler not working. I check the broil element with a meter and it shows to be good. I am taken it the next step is a bad control?????
