Thus we end up cooking things at 310 degrees, for example, rather than the desired 350 degrees. You can end up twisting the knob for a long time before getting a close to acceptable temperature. Same thing with the time. Thus as far as I can see the only thing wrong with the unit is the component attached to the knob. Since I do not have a name or part number for the component I looked up your company on the Web.	Replaced with reconditioned timer
